With the Rüdesheim cable car you "float above the vines". It is only 300 metres from the Central Hotel to the valley station in Oberstraße, not far from Drosselgasse. In about 15 minutes, the cable car takes you directly from the valley station in the old town to the Niederwald Monument. A ride on the cable car is one of the highlights of any visit to Rüdesheim.
The beautiful panoramic view of Rüdesheim, Bingen, Father Rhine and the rolling hills of the Rheingau is enchanting at first sight. The imposing "Germania" towers above it all, a visit to the "Rebenhaus" right next to the top station of the cable car is recommended.
On special occasions, the cable car is also open at night. The opening hours of the cable car vary depending on the month and season. The prices of the cable car range from single rides to uphill and downhill rides to attractive package prices including further experiences and sights.
